I have a 2002 Classic Bullet 500 with Boyer ignition fitted. What I've noticed is 3 resistors wired in series on the cable running from the coil to the kill switch. I was wondering why someone had done this? I emailed Boyer who suggested that the coil fitted to my bike may not have the correct primary resistance. Can anyone else back this up or have other possible reasons?
